Fireplace & Gas Fire Installation- Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire

This customer originally had a gas fire basket fire in their property. As some of you may know a fire-basket effect fire is primarily a decorative piece, as the majority of heat is lost up the chimney.

After many years of this our customer wanted a gas fire which was much more efficient and could be relied upon as a valuable heat source to the room. We therefore recommended a glass fronted model where efficiency rating start around 75% for most models, additionally the units are sealed and thus our customer will no longer feel the effects of a cold draught  coming down the chimney.

Here we have installed:

• Capital DL500 Conventional Flue Gas Fire with Black Glass Lining
• Portuguese Limestone Slips to match existing mantle-piece
