Scirocco is the sun sail that has gone beyond the limits of normal garden sails and, thanks to its avant-garde design, is able to shade surfaces up to 70 m2. In fact, the structure is equipped with a single triangle or double sail of an irregular shape whose rather large dimensions are also variable with respect to the width of the angles. This allows Scirocco to be developed and manufactured solely on order to respond to each specific needs of context and design.

Its minimal dimensions and impeccable aesthetics make it suitable for any style and situation: from residential gardens to contract outdoor spaces, from the most classic taste to the most sophisticated mood. This is also thanks to the particular contrast effect, appealing because it is always measured, created by the proximity between its components and the different support surfaces. This sail was born by imagining the marvel of fusing the nautical and outdoor worlds, bringing the most advanced sailing technologyto dry land. And it is precisely the sea and sky that merge in Scirocco, where every detail is designed to fulfil a precise practical function in addition to looking good: so the combination of polished finishes like those of the support posts in mirrored stainless steel and satin elements like the furling profile in anodised aluminium contribute to the elegant and sophisticated look of the structure, also guaranteeing its high resistance to the weather and salt. Likewise, the sun sail is both extremely pleasing to the eye, thanks also to the 4 colours available, and durable. In fact, Dacron^® and Tempotest^® Starlight^®, the technical fabrics used to manufacture it, are commonly employed on boats and provide protection against heat, rain and wind, especially in the resin-coated or fire-retardant versions.

Sun sail with compact dimensions for anchoring at will

The mirror-polished stainless steel poles with sails having radial panels are completed by a sole motor positioned in the roller tube and the springs inside the support pole. This means a minimum footprint for wall anchorages, which can be secured at will, limiting the number of poles to just one, necessary to be able to contain the tensioning spring.

Moreover, the sail, double or single, does not need bracing and can be closed using the manual or motorised system inside the furling profile, whose maximum height is 11 m, while the height of the triangle is 7 m. In the event of a power failure, the movement can be manual. The motorised version of Scirocco is equipped with an anemometer that triggers automatic closure in case of strong wind. Even the maintenance is minimal for this sun shade sail, and installation versatility is another strong point.
