We have put together a comprehensive guide, to help you understand more about electric fireplaces, so you can choose the right one for your home.
What is an electric fireplace?:
An electric fireplace is a heater that mimics the appearance of a traditional fireplace, but uses electricity instead of burning wood, gas, or coal . All electric fires are available with a built-in ‘fan heater’ which offers a heat output between 1.5-2KW.
What are some key features of electric fireplaces?:
Realistic Flame effect : One of the key technologies is LED lighting. High-quality LED lights are strategically placed to simulate the flicker and movement of flames. These lights are long-lasting, energy-efficient, and capable of displaying a wide range of colours. The speed, intensity, and color of the flame can often be easily adjusted via a remote control .
Easy Installation: Electric fireplaces are much easier to install in comparison to wood/ gas fireplaces. They do not require any ventilation. Most can be fitted with a standard plug and electrical outlet. Some models can even be installed with a ‘flat will fix’. This is where no chimney breast or flue is required, the fire comes as one complete unit and can be installed on to any wall.
Energy Efficiency: These fireplaces are highly efficient as they are able to convert almost all energy into usable heat. Most of our models come with a thermostat remote, so the heat settings can be easily adjusted.
What are the different types of electric fires?:

This type of fireplace is particularly useful if you already have a chimney breast in your property.
Inset electric fires are usually always installed with a fireplace surround so can suit either the traditional or contemporary look.

An electric fire suite is a complete, self-contained unit that combines an electric fireplace with a surround or mantel. It is designed to provide a convenient/ space saving solution. Out of our full range of fireplaces. Electric Suites are by far the easiest to install; most are installed straight against the wall using brackets.

Electric stoves are designed to replicate the appearance of a wood stove, with the ease and convenience of a wood stove. Electric stoves are also freestanding, they can be installed anywhere in a room and can be moved ( if required) just plug in and play!
What are the advantages of Electric Fireplaces
Low Maintenance: No Wood or Gas: There’s no need to stock up on firewood, worry about gas lines, or clean ashes. Electric fireplaces only need occasional dusting to keep them in good condition.
No Mess: No soot, smoke, or ash means a cleaner home and no need to clean up after using the fireplace.
All Year Use : Since many electric fireplaces allow you to turn off the heat but keep the flame effect on, you can enjoy the ambiance of a fire without warming up the room, making it a perfect option for all seasons.
